Welcome to Nunu. By creating an account and using this app, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Nunu ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Not Medical Advice

Nunu provides general information and suggestions about:

• Baby sleep schedules and wake windows
• Age-appropriate feeding and weaning ideas
• Mood check-ins and mental health screening tools (e.g., EPDS)
• Parenting support via AI chat

None of this is clinical advice. Nunu's AI assistant is designed to be helpful and supportive, but it is not a substitute for professional medical guidance.

Always consult your GP, paediatrician, midwife, or health visitor if you have concerns about:

• Your baby's sleep, feeding, or development
• Your own mental or physical health
• Any symptoms that worry you

3. Mental Health Screening Tools

Nunu includes self-screening questionnaires (such as the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale) to help you reflect on your wellbeing. These tools are not diagnostic and cannot replace a clinical assessment.

4. User Account and Responsibilities

When you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information (email, baby's birthdate)
• Keeping your account credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account

You must not use the app to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit the app

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the app is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Nunu, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in that policy.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Delete Account.

6. AI-Generated Content

Nunu's chat assistant is powered by OpenAI's GPT-4o. While we strive for accuracy and helpfulness:

• AI responses may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate
• You should verify important information with reliable sources or healthcare professionals
• We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated content

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Nunu may offer paid subscriptions via the Apple App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing are managed by Apple. We do not process payment information directly.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from within the app.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Nunu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
